Drupal is a rich and powerful Content Management System with a very dynamic user community: Drupal runs the web sites of Amnesty International, Stanford ou the University of Michigan Libraries, but also the web sites of public and academic libraries of all stripes and sizes.

Drupal makes it easy to manage a sophisticated publishing workflow:

Drupal allows for different graphical interfaces, which allows us to:

• commenting on the site's content, with a fine-tuned system where the library can pick with types of content the public will interact with
• RSS feeds for contents and a library blog
• online exhibits and podcats

Drupal is a very extensible system: we can add many modules which will give you more functionalities, all the way to entirely replacing your native opac and give to patrons functionalities that the opac might not have, such as facetting, tag clouds, comments on records and more. Not mentioning a complete and perfect graphical integration between the library's web site and it's opac.
